    Uttar Pradesh Board High School and Board Intermediate Results 2018

    The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad otherwise called UPMSP. The Uttar Pradesh State Education Board has been conducting Board High School (Class 10) and Board Intermediate (Class 12).

    Uttar Pradesh Board 2018: Class 10 Board High School

    Lucknow: Over 34 lakh students appeared for 2018 Class 10 Board High School Exam across Uttar Pradesh which has started on February 6th 2018. It has two shifts of timings where as morning shift timings is from 7:30 AM – 10:45 AM and Evening shift timings are 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM at exam centers in Uttar Pradesh state, said authorities from the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP).

    Examination has started from February 6th and concluded on February 22th 2018. The Uttar Pradesh Board has not announced any specific date for the declaration of the results. If past trends are to be followed then the board is expected to announce the results in the third week of April. Check the result in the offical UP Board website: http://upresults.nic.in/

    Karnataka PUC and SSLC Board Results 2018

    Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board otherwise called KSEEB. Karnataka State Education Board has been conducting SSLC Exam (Secondary School Leaving Certificate Exam) and PUC I and PUC II (Pre-University Education).

    Karnataka Board 2018: Class 10 SSLC

    Bangalore: Over 4 lakh students will appear for 2018 SSLC Board Exam across Karnataka which will end on March 17, said authorities from the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board(KSEEB).

    Karnataka Board 2018: Class 11 & 12 PUC

    Bangalore:
    More than 14 lakh students across Karnataka will appear for the 1st and 2nd PUC examinations this year.

    The board exam for PUC I students has started from February 8, 2018 and will conclude on March 1, 2018. The board exam for PUC II students has started from March 1, 2018 and will conclude on March 17, 2018.

    The Karnataka Pre-University Examination Board will announce the 1st and 2nd PUC Result 2018 on or before end of May 2nd Week respectively. Its been reported that Examination Board has conducted the Arts, Science and Commerce group final exam answer sheet corrections to calculate subject wise marks of PUC final exams with paper valuation, after successfully end of the subject wise marks valuation the PUC Result Date 2018 will be announced officially.

    Maharastra SSC and HSC Board Results 2018

    Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary And Higher Secondary Education Or MSBSHSE includes SSC (Secondary School Certificate) And HSC (Higher Secondary Schools).

    Maharashtra Board 2018: Class 10 SSC Pune:

    Over 17.5 lakh students will appear for 2018 SSC Board Exam across nine divisions and 4,657 centres in Maharashtra which will end on March 24, said authorities from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). Of these, a total of 3,82,544 students are appearing from the Mumbai division and 2,86,115 from the Pune division – the two largest divisions in the State.

    Examination starts from March 1st till March 24th 2018. The results will be announced in June 2018. Check the result in the offical Maharashtra Board website: http://mahresult.nic.in/

    Reverification / Reevaluation:

    For verification, the students need to submit self-attested copies of their mark sheets within ten days of the declaration of the results i.e. from 14th June to 23rd June 2018 along with fees for the same. To obtain a photocopy of their answer sheets, students have to apply between 14th of June to 3rd of July 2018.

    The students who wish to apply for Class Improvement Scheme (CIS) in order to improve their scores will get two opportunities to do so in the July-August 2018 supplementary exams and in the March 2018 Board exams. Forms will be available online from June 19 for those students who have not qualified the March 2018 examination or wish to take the Class Improvement Scheme (CIS) in the July-August supplementary exam.

    Special note:The Maharashtra government has recently revised the rules for awarding additional marks to SSC (Class 10) students excelling in arts and culture. The students can now earn up to 15 marks extra instead of 25 given earlier. The state government has also done away with the two per cent reservation that the students, who got the extra marks could avail in the first year junior college admissions.


    Maharashtra Board 2018: Class 12 HSC

    Mumbai:
    More than 14 lakh students across Maharashtra will appear for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year. Of this, 3.3 lakh students will appear from the Mumbai division, which has in 583 centres.

    The board exam for class 12th HSC students has started from February 21, 2018 and will conclude on March 20. According to the schedule published by Maharashtra Board, the HSC examinations will be held in two sessions, from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

    The results will be declared in the last week of May 2018. Check the result in the offical Maharashtra Board website: http://mahresult.nic.in/ Reverification / Reevaluation: The supplementary result will be released by the board in the month of July 2018.

    BIOINFORMATICS INDUSTRIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME (BIITP) 2017-18

    BIITP is a programme of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL). The objective of BIITP is to provide industry-specific training to Bioinformatics students for skill development and enhancing their job opportunities in biotech industry.


    ATTENTION: BIO-INFORMATICS STUDENTS:

     



    DBT invites the applications from the Bioinformatics students and requisitions from biotech/bioinformatics companies.The training is for a period of six months during which every trainee is paid a stipend of Rs. 10000/- per month. The company is also paid a bench fee to cover expenses towards training.This programme is advantageous for the companies as it gives them an opportunity to assess the performance of the trainees and subject to availability, suitable trainees could be considered for placement.

    1. ELIGIBILITY:

     



    a) B.E /B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech./Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from an Indian recognized university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in highest degree/diploma completed in the year 2016 or 2017.

     

    b) The Advanced Post Graduate diploma should be of at least one year duration after graduation.

     

    c)  Students whose result of last semester/final year is not declared can also apply mentioning their marks upto the semester/year upto which result declared. The final result with original mark sheet(s) of all the semesters/years will have to be produced at the time of interview.

     

    2. Application procedure:

     

    a) The application would be accepted online only. The form has to be filled within 20 minutes otherwise the page will expire. The last date for submission of online application is October 5, 2017.

    AFFILIATION NOTIFICATION:

    Sub : Inviting online application of affiliation for the academic year 2018-19 – reg.

    Applications are invited online from the registered educational Trusts/ Institutions/ Organisations/ Societies situated in Shimoga & Chikmagalur District areas of Kuvempu University Jurisdiction which are financially viable to start new colleges from the academic year 2018-19 in the discipline of Arts, Science, Commerce, management, Education, Physical Education and B.Voc., degree Courses, without expecting the state government grant.

    Applications are also invited online from the affiliated colleges of Kuvempu University in the prescribed proforma seeking renewal of temporary affiliation; permanent affiliation; review of permanent affiliation, for extension of degree or Post Graduate degree courses, combinations, languages and for the grant of additional intake of students for the academic year 2018-19. Besides, colleges are also required to submit hard copy of the application uploaded online and manual application in duplicate for UG and PG. Courses should be sent separately to the Office of the College Development Council.
    The Other Details are:

    i.) The application for seeking fresh affiliation to start B.Ed and B.P.Ed colleges can be submitted online by registered Educational Trust/ Institutions/Organizations after obtaining NOC from the affiliating University and prior approval of NCTE or such other authorities following the rules/regulations stipulated by them.

    ii.) The Principals of the existing colleges or registered trust/ institutions/ organisations shall not submit application for affiliation to the courses/optionals which are not as per University regulations.

    iii.) The existing colleges that have temporary affiliation for a continuous period of FIVE years and have fulfilled the conditions laid down by the earlier Local Inquiry Committees and achieved the academic and administrative standards prescribed by the University may submit application for permanent affiliation.

    iv.) The colleges which are continuously affiliated for the last five years and have got four duly qualified core faculty (at least two with Ph.D.) for each Post Graduate programme, and have got proper facilities for research activities as laid down in the University/Government guidelines may submit applications seeking fresh affiliation to start Postgraduate programmes during 2018-19.

    v.) While submitting online application for seeking fresh affiliation, the registered trust/ Institutions/ Organizations should enclose along with the hard copy of prescribed application, the following documents:

    ☛ 1) Copy of the Registration Certificate of the Education Society.
    ☛ 2) Copy of the Memorandum & Articles of Association, Rules, Regulation and Byelaw.
    ☛ 3) In case of a trust, a copy of the Trust Deed and evidence for having registered the same as per rules and a copy of the decision taken in the trust meeting.
    ☛ 4) Latest Audit Report of the Educational Society/Trust.
    ☛ 5) Audit Report of the College.
    ☛ 6) Annual Report of the Previous Year.
    ☛ 7) Place in which proposed college is to be located and its suitability (enclose building plan etc.,)
    ☛ 8) In the case of SC/ST Management, a certificate issued by the competent authority.
    ☛ 9) An undertaking in Rs.100/- (One Hundred Rupees Only) stamp paper duly certified by notary should be given stating that the college will comply with all provisions of the Act, Statutes, Regulations, Ordinance, guidelines issued from time to time.

    06. The Principals of Government Colleges are strictly instructed to get prior approval of the Government to start new courses/subjects/languages and for additional intake, otherwise such requests will not be considered. Further, they are instructed to submit their application furnishing clear information for continuation of affiliation in the prescribed form without fail. In case of additional sections, combinations, languages, increase of intake etc., such requirements should be thoroughly checked and mentioned clearly while submitting online application.

    07. 50% concession in affiliation fee will be given to the colleges run by the SC/ST management.. (Development fee and Service fee shall be fully paid) Such organizations/trusts should submit a certificate issued by the competent authority stating that their organization/trust belongs to SC/ST Management. Those who fail to submit such certificate, their application will not be considered under 50% concession category. 08.     09. Colleges with Permanent affiliation which are also having temporary affiliation for some degree courses/ optional subjects/ languages shall apply online separately.

    National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (Ministry of SocialJustice and Empower, Govt. of India) has announced 2500 scholorships for the diferently-abled students and the applications forms are welcome

    a) The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the differently-abled students to enable them to pursue professional or technical courses from recognized institutes and get employed/self-employed.

    b) To start with every year 2500 scholarships will be provided to the differently-abled students throughout the country. 30% scholarships will be reserved for girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of non-availability of female candidates.

    c) The following benefits will be available under the scheme:-
    ☛ For Professional Graduate Courses students Maintanence allowance per month Rs.2500 for 10 months and Book and Stationary allowance for one education year Rs.6000.
    ☛ For Professional Post-Graduate courses students Maintanence allowance per month Rs.3000 and Book and Stationary allowance Rs.6000 for one education year.
    ☛ Visual,Hearing and Orthopaedically handicapped differently-abled students, in addition will be provided aids and appliances, only once during lifetime.
    ☛ The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 3.00 lakh and monthly income Rs.25000 from all sources. However, preference shall be given to economically weaker students.
    ☛ A scholarship holder under this Scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
