	CBSE said that examination and assessment will be done based on the syllabus provided by the CBSE and not as given in the NCERT books The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) in its latest notice has announced that it will not set-up the board exams for 2020 entirely on the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) syllabus, instead the board has released its syllabus for the upcoming exams on the official website. The board in its recent notice said they prescribe NCERT books for class 9, 10, 11 and 12, however, it has been brought to their notice that “in these (NCERT) books, at certain places, it is mentioned that particular part of the book is not for the purpose of examination or assessment. Similar instructions are given for the information/ question provided in boxes also.” The CBSE said that these instructions are not applicable for class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by CBSE in 2020.The board, “examination and assessment will be done based on the syllabus provided by the CBSE and not as given in the NCERT books”. 	The students appearing in the Classes 10, 11, and 12 board examinations 2020 will get 30 minutes more than the scheduled two and a half hour The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has extended the duration of the board examinations by half an hour. The students will now get three hours to write the classes 10, 11 and 12 board examinations instead of two-and-half hours. The classes 10, 12 examinations will begin on March 17 and will be concluded on April 9, 2020.The exams will be conducted in the morning shift only starting from 10 am and ending at 1:15 pm. Candidates will be given 10 minutes to read the question paper, five minutes for verification of particulars of candidates and exam will begin from 10:15 onwards. For the new pattern, the exams will end at 12:45 and for the old pattern it will end at 1:15 pm. The admit card for the examinations will be released in the first week of March. National Testing Agency is going to organise next editions of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) on February 3. The registration process for both the tests will begin on November 1 and will be concluded on November 30. GPAT 2020 and CMAT 2020 registrations can be done on the official websites, ntagpat.nic.in and ntacmat.nic.in, respectively.GPAT is a national level entrance examination for entry into MPharm programmes. Till 2018, it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. GPAT, these days, is being conducted by the NTA.This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master's (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three-hour computer-based online test which is conducted in a single session. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score. 	Researchers establish a startup to deploy ‘AISoft,’ nearly million-fold faster than its peers in the field, to develop solutions to engineering problems in varied fields such as semiconductors, automobile and aerospace Indian Institute of Technology Madras researchers have developed algorithms that enable novel applications for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning to solve engineering problems. The researchers are going to establish a startup to deploy their AI Software called 'AISoft' to develop solutions to engineering problems in varied fields such as in thermal management, semiconductors, automobile, aerospace and electronic cooling applications. AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning are now being used for over a decade but traditionally only in areas such as signal processing, speech recognition, image reconstruction and prediction. 	IIM CAT Admit Card 2019: Expected to be out today	10/23/2019 12:00:00 AM
	IIM CAT 2019 Admit card is expected to release today at 5 pm on the official website-- iimcat.ac.in. The IIM Kozhikode or Indian Institute of Management is expected to release the admit card or e-call letter on October 23, 2019, for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019. Candidates who are waiting for their admit cards can download it from the IIM CAT official website-- iimcat.ac.in.The CAT admit card will have details of the venue, exam centre and time/ session of the exam. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their admit cards in the exam hall.The admit card for IIM CAT 2019 will be released at 5 pm. The total number of candidates registered for the exam are 2,44,168. A total of 2,09,405 candidates had appeared for the exam in 2018 and 1,99,632 in 2017.
