	CSBC BIHAR ADMIT CARD 2018: ☛ The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar is all set to release the admit cards for the Driving Efficiency Test (DET) to be conducted on January 5, 2019 for recruitment of Driver Constable in Bihar Police and Fireman Driver in Bihar Fire Services on December10, 2018. ☛ The Constable Selection Board started the recruitment drive in February, 2018 to fill a total of 1,669 vacancies. All the initial stages of the selection process have been completed.Driving Efficiency Test is the last stage in the selection process. 	ANNA UNIVERSITY TO CONDUCT RE-EXAMINATION ON MATHS 2 PAPER: ☛ Mathematics is an important subject for the students studying engineering. Recently the maths- 2 question paper got leaked is known. This led to cancellation of maths-2 paper by the Anna University or AU. The latest piece of news is on 12 of December 2018, re-examination for the affiliated colleges would be conducted and this was announced by AU. ☛ On 3rd December 2018, mathematics-2 arrear paper was conducted and over 80,000 students wrote the examination. It is important to mention that during the examinations it was brought out by some students that the mathematics question paper was already leaked by some miscreants. This mathematics examination is regarded as one of the toughest in the engineering streams and every year many students fail in mathematics paper are known. An inquiry was held regarding the maths-2 question paper leak and it was found to be true and this had shocked the Anna University. Vice-chancellor of Anna University cancelled the examination on the same day. It is now said that the re-examination for maths-2 would be conducted on 12th December 2018. ☛ On Friday, 7th December, AU in an announcement stated that B.E/B. Tech students from all the branches of engineering except marine engineering could appear for the maths-2 examination. The hall tickets sent for the semester examinations could be used by the students writing maths-2 examination. An in-house enquiry regarding the question paper leak was carried out by the university. As per the sources of AU it is now clear that the inquiry did not provide the answer regarding the maths-2 question paper leak. The case would be handed over to the police to find those who were involved in this question paper leak. ☛ For the students belonging to the cyclone Gaja affected parts of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Pudukottai districts, the controller of examinations office had also released the re-scheduled examination dates. The examinations should have been held at these places on 22nd November, 23rd November and 24th November but were cancelled after cyclone created havoc in the delta regions. 	BRITISH COUNCIL’s INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION:/left> ☛ A total of 45 private and government schools from the Eastern and Northeastern region were given international accreditation at the International School Award (ISA) of British Council on Wednesday. ☛ The ISA, with a presence in 31 countries, is a scheme that accredits schools with an outstanding level of support for nurturing global citizenship in young people and enriching teaching and learning, the Council said in a statement here Wednesday. ☛ The 45 schools were from rural and urban areas of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam and Chhattisgarh. 	NEW REGULATIONS IMPOSED ON SCHOOLS TO DECLARE A HOLIDAY ON A RAINY DAY:	12/7/2018 12:00:00 AM
	NEW REGULATIONS IMPOSED ON SCHOOLS: ☛ The Department of School Education of the state government of Tamil Nadu has issued circulars to all the strict collectors regarding the decision to declare a holiday on a rainy day. ☛ In the circular issued by the Chief Secretary of the Department of School Education, Pradeep Yadav, the regulations for taking a decision under what circumstances to declare a holiday (on a rainy day). Only in case, there has been an inundation and flooding of the roads affecting the transportation, a holiday may be declared. ☛ In case of light drizzles of rain or mild rain, a holiday should not be declared. A decision to declare the holiday must be taken 3 hours in advance before the starting time of the school. The District Primary Education Officers can notify the district collector regarding declaring a holiday for schools in specific areas as per the prevailing climate conditions/situations. ☛ A holiday can be declared only in those regions severely affected by the rains. It is not necessary to declare a holiday for the entire district. A holiday can be declared only for the district education or the local administration areas. ☛ While declaring a holiday on reasons of temple festivals, etc., the schools should also announce the compensating another working day. The respective Saturdays in the relevant weeks can be declared as compensatory working days. ☛ It must be categorically ensured that the syllabus and teaching system does not get affected for whatever reasons. The schools must be reopened as immediately as possible. ☛ In case the school premises have been used as temporary accommodation for the rain-affected people, activities must be initiated to shift them to a new location. In case there is water stagnation in the school premises, action must be taken o remove the same and then reopen the school. More>>

	THE LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION FOR NEET IS 7th DECEMBER:	12/7/2018 12:00:00 AM
	NEET: ☛ For the 12th Standard candidates interested in pursuing medical courses after completion, it is mandatory to participate and write and pass NEET (National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test). ☛ For the current academic year, NEET is scheduled to be conducted on 6th May. The online registration commenced on 1st November. Earlier, it had been announced that the last date for registration for NEET was 30th November. In a recent enquiry, the Supreme Court had ordered that the candidates above 25 years of age can also participate in NEET Subsequently, the last date for online registration for NEET was extended by a week.
