	UTTAR PRADESH GOVERNMENT GEARS UP TO CHECK CHEATING IN STATE BOARD EXAMS:	12/11/2018 12:00:00 AM
	UTTAR PRADESH GOVERNMENT: ☛ A new software has been designed and a four-step process initiated to check the menace of copying in the Uttar Pradesh board exams which are beginning from February 7, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said. Centres in the state, which reported maximum cases of cheating in the past, will be strictly monitored, he said. "The intention of the UP government is to curtail the use of unfair means by students while making efforts to improve the quality of education. Owing to efforts of the UP government, use of unfair means has stopped, and the number of students studying in government schools has increased by 18-20 per cent," Sharma, who also holds the portfolio of secondary and higher education, told PTI here in an interview. ☛ He said the UP Board exam will begin on February 7 and will be conducted in the next 16 working days. If the exams are held in a shorter duration, it will also lead to cutting the cost incurred in conducting them he said. The Adityanath government, he said, has taken a lot of steps to check cheating in exams. ☛ "Before the BJP came to power in Uttar Pradesh, the prevailing atmosphere in the state prompted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to say that tenders are floated in UP for copying (UP mein to nakal ke tender hote hai). After the BJP came to power in UP, steps have been taken to curtail the evil practice, the UP deputy Chief Minister said. ☛ Sharma said copying was so rampant in the past that students from specific states were kept together at one exam centre. "At these centres, stringent measures were initiated to ensure that use of unfair means does not take place. Last year, a strict vigil was maintained on suspicious centres. ☛ "As a result, 67 persons were arrested from a place. A press printing answer sheets were unearthed in Jaunpur, while a gang involved in the leakage of question paper was busted in Hardoi. Impersonators were caught in Kaushambi and Aligarh," he said. ☛ "There were large-scale irregularities involved in setting up of an examination centre. Now schools desirous of becoming exam centres have to apply online and submit details of facilities. The software will choose the centre while keeping in mind laid down parameters and criteria. ☛ Elaborating on the steps taken by the Adityanath government in the education sector, he said the government has opened 205 new schools in the last one year, and teachers have been appointed. ☛ Of these 205 new secondary schools, as many as 166 are model schools, he said. Sharma said from the next academic year, one Adarsh Vidyalaya (model school) will be opened in every division of the state. More>>

	CBSE CTET 2018: ☛ "The date of the declaration of answer keys has not been decided. The board is trying to release the answer keys soon," Anurag Tripathi said. Once released, the candidates can check the answer keys through the official website, cbse.nic.in ☛ The Central Board of Secondary Education is unlikely to release the answer keys of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examinations this week. Speaking to indianexpress.com, CTET Director Anurag Tripathi said, “The date of the declaration of answer keys has not been decided. The board is trying to release the answer keys soon.” Once released, the candidates can check the answer keys through the official website, cbse.nic.in ☛ This year, over 16 lakhs appeared for the CTET examinations that was conducted on Sunday, November 9. 	CTET 2018: ☛ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 on Sunday, December 09, 2018 across the country. The answer key of CTET 2018 will be released soon on the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared in the examination will get stipulated time to download the answer key once released. ☛ CTET 2018 examination comprised of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. Paper I was conducted from 2 pm to 4.30pm and Paper II was conducted from 9.30am to 12noon. CTET was conducted at 2144 centers across the country for around 17 lakh candidates. 	RPF SI & CONSTABLE 2018: ☛ Indian Railways has released the admit card for Sub-Inspector & Constable exam in Railway Protection Special Force and Railway Protection Force. The exam will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted 10 days after the release of the admit card. The admit card for SI and Constable post can be downloaded from the official site of RPF at rpfonlinereg.co.in. STEPS TO DOWNLOAD RPF SI 2018 ADMIT CARD: • Candidates will have to visit the official site of RPF at rpfonlinereg.co.in. • Click on Employment Notice for SI or Constable. • The right side of the screen has Call Letter written on it. 	TELANGANA POLICE SI ADMIT CARD 2018: ☛ Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released the admit card of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Sub Inspector recruitment exam. Candidates who will appear for the examination can download their respective admit card by visiting the official site at tslprb.in. ☛ The Telangana Police SI Admit Card 2018 can be downloaded from December 09 to December 15, 2018, till 12 midnight. 	AP BOARD SSC EXAMS 2019: ☛ Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh has released the date sheet for Class 10 examination to be conducted by the Board across the state. The examination will commence from March 18, 2019, to April 02, 2019. Students who will appear in the examination can check and download the AP Board SSC Exams 2019 date sheet through the official site of the Board at bseap.org. ☛ The exam date sheet is for academic, OSSC and vocational candidates (regular or private candidates). All the academic course subjects/ papers are common for both SSC academic course and OSSC course candidates. The candidature will be canceled if the candidate appears in the examination center other than originally allotted by the Board.
