	Delhi government orders Admission to IP University law courses through CLAT	5/22/2019 12:00:00 AM
	NIOS D.El.Ed is expected to declare its diploma in elementary education fourth-semester exam result 2019 soon. As per the order passed on Tuesday by the Supreme Court, The admissions to law courses of the Guru Gobind Singh IP University (GGSIPU) for the academic year 2019-20 will be through the national level Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).A vacation bench of Justice Arun Mishra and Justice M.R. Shah said that the university should not use the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the admissions."Let the admissions be made on the basis of CLAT," the apex court said. The Self-Financing Educational Institutions Association had moved the court against the university's decision to use CLAT scores for admitting students in law courses. It submitted that the deadline for CLAT is already over and it is not favourable for the students who seek admission in law. At this, the court said: "Your apprehension does not appear to be right. The students are much more smarter these days, and they would have applied for CLAT." Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the varsity, cited the Delhi High Court verdict which mandated the university to conduct the CET for admissions in law, and the channel to admit students through CLAT was not permitted. The apex court said: "Nobody will suffer. CLAT means CLAT." During the hearing, the court took an exception when a junior lawyer assisting a senior lawyer tried to butt in. "Ask your junior to behave in the court. What is this happening, we can initiate contempt... is this a vegetable market, a senior is arguing and the junior lawyer shouting from behind," the bench said. 	The Goa Board Exam 2019 was held from April 2 to 27, across 28 examination centres. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education (GBSHE) is the main state board of education in the Indian state of GOA, responsible for secondary and higher secondary education management in its affiliated schools. 	Gujarat Board Class 10 Result 2019 to be declared soon! Due to the results of the Lok Sabha elections, which will be announced on May 23, 2019 here seems to be a further delay in the commencement of the University of Delhi undergraduate admission process. The application forms will now be available only in the middle of next week, according to the Dean of Students Welfare. The application forms were expected to be available from May 20, 2019. However, Professor Rajeev Gupta on Saturday said they won’t release the forms before Thursday. Gupta said the admission for undergraduate and postgraduate courses will begin separately. The forms for PG courses are likely to be out by May 21.
