Indian Navy opens job offer options to enter Navy as a Sailor for students who have passed either class 10 class 12 pass. Indian Navy will recruit the students of class 10 and 12 for the posts of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruit (MR), and Artificer Apprentices (AA).
Candidates who are willing to apply for the Artificer Apprentice (AA) post and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), must have passed class 12 with 60 percent or more marks in aggregate with Maths and Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from a recognised board of education.
The selection process for the Indian Navy job constitutes a written test, physical fitness test, and medical test.
The written test is computer-based for all the posts. The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge and will be of 60 minutes duration.
