☛ The National Testing agency(NTA) will be conducted online in 84 subjects at 91 selected cities. This is to determine the eligibility for Assistant professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & for Assistant professor both in Indian Universities and colleges.
WHAT IS UGC-NET?:
☛ The UGC–NET is for the eligibility for Assistant Professor only or junior Research fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and colleges. The role of NTA is limited up to the conduct of Net examination and declaration of result. The e-certificate to the qualified candidates will be issued by the UGC-NET Bureau.

☛ The candidates are required to apply online between 01/09/2018 to 30/09/2018, the fees can be paid up to October 1,2018.
☛ The application process beginning in Sep 01 2018, interested and eligible candidates can register through online mode through NAT official website nta.ac.in or ntanet.nic.in.
ELIGIBILTY:
☛ Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination form universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities(including language) and social Science, Computer science, Electronic Science are eligible for test.
☛ The Ph.D degree holders whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991(irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks(i.e from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.
