TN SSLC examinations starts with Over 9 lakh students taking up the exam
The Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations began on Thursday with the Tamil paper.Over 9.59 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry attended the SSLC examinations.As per the students, the Tamil paper 1 was easy with no surprises.The paper was along expected lines and we hope that the language paper II will be easy as well.With the second phase of syllabus revision in the offing, this will be the last year of the old syllabus for Class X students as the education department unveils a new curriculum for classes II, VII, X and Plus Two from the coming academic year.
There were 4,000 teachers who were overseeing the conduct of the SSLC exams across centres and 5,500 flying squads as well as standing squads had been constituted for the purpose.Moreover, The Director of Government Examinations further said that there were no instances of malpractice detected in the SSLC exam.
Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations began at 2 p.m. across the centres as most exam centres had Plus One students writing the Physics, Economics and Computer Technology papers in the morning.
