The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Sivan had announced the Young Scientist programme in January and had appealed to the state governments and the state education departments for their active cooperation in making the programme a success.The ISRO announced the launch of the Young Scientist programme on Monday which will train class 9 students in space science and technology and its applications in order to culture a passion for space-related activities.
