Three colleges being conferred autonomous status
Three from Mumbai among 8 state colleges get autonomous status.The UGC recently granted autonomy to eight more colleges, which include three Mumbai colleges.

- Hansraj Jivandas College of Education (Khar West)
- Changukana Thakur College (Panvel)
